WTN Media, a business-to-business news and events company, is seeking freelance writers. Qualifications include proven experience writing about business at the executive level, ability to conduct interviews with C-level and Fortune 500 executives, and a strong interest in information technology, the life sciences, or other high technology. WTN Media’s properties are known for quality, reach a core audience of managers and executives, and must convey business value.

In addition to features, news and interviews of about 600 to 2,000 words, pitches for multimedia packages, podcast series, video interviews and interactive tools are also considered.
All content authors must be disclosed, including assistants or subcontractors, regardless of who will appear in the final byline for publication. Authors must be free of conflicts of interest including financial relationships with sources used in the content, people or organizations featured in the content, and their direct competitors.
Commentary articles provide members of the community who are not necessarily journalists to share their subject-matter expertise, views and opinions and to gain exposure.

Commentary authors have some latitude regarding topics, but submissions are still subject to WTN‘s editorial standards including but not limited to relevance and quality. Regardless of WTN‘s editorial role, WTN disclaims responsibility for content expressed in commentary articles and notes that they do not necessarily reflect the opinions of WTN or its staff.
Columnists are commentary writers who submit content on a regular schedule, generally between once a week and once every two months. Columnists commit to and maintain a regular schedule.
